How did you earn your first sales? Which channels are now generating the most traffic and sales for you?
We did a couple of trade shows in London and the printed material given out during the trade shows lead the visitors to our website. Word of mouth started to spread and more traffic was generated.
Tell us about the back-end of your business. What tools and apps do you use to run your store? How do you handle shipping and fulfillment?
Shopify was recommended for its user-friendly online platform. We used Shopify to build our e-commerce site by simply choosing our theme (Radience), we then customized our site by with simple coding. The blog feature is one of Shopify’s tools that we used the most to keep our frequent visitors up-to-date with our latest press and news. The Shopify built-in SEO features helps us improve our web visibility. The abandoned order checking features helps us to track down potential customers that we missed. The visitor analytics and traffic source located on the dashboard helps us to know more about visitors and marketing.

The Shopify gurus are very supportive when we are in need of any technical help. Please do bother the gurus when you need to!

The internet can be very anonymous and there are several things that can be done to overcome this - let customers see your photo. They like to see who they are buying from. Include a ‘phone number on every page, so they feel safe to call if they need to check their order. Include a real address. Put quotes from happy customers and include their full name and city.
